Dear Visitor, we would like to present you with the first edition of the Multimedia Family Guide to the West Pomeranian Sailing Route Land, Water, Adventure. It is an invitation to visit just a fraction of the treasures hidden in the region. It is intended to be a lively and interactive publication that will be constantly updated and renewed. In this way, anyone who is enchanted by the local coast can become a co-author of the guide in the future. Uzdrowisko Dąbki is a unique seaside resort to which one returns at any time of the year. A unique place that provides contact with nature and gives the opportunity for active relaxation. It is impossible to express the charm of this place in a few words, so come here, see it and, like us, love it….

Beach Dąbki

The clean, sandy and wide beach in Dąbki encourages both sea and sunbathing. A bathing beach guarded by WOPR lifeguards is in operation during the season. The beach is connected with the village by a strip of low dunes, overgrown mainly with Scots pine and black pine.

A forest promenade stretches along the seashore for 6km.
In Dąbki, fishing boats moor on the beach and you can buy freshly caught fish from the local fishermen.

Cycle routes

Spend your holiday actively! Discover Dąbki and its surroundings from the perspective of two wheels. There are 3 long and 1 short route running through Dąbki.

  • Shortest (route 5.5 km) Dąbki – Dąbkowice
  • Szlakiem Cystersów loop (route 23 km) Darłowo – Bobolin – Dąbki
  • Big Seaside Loop (route 37 km) Darłówko East (Słowiańska Street) – Wicie – Jarosławiec – Rusinowo – Barzowice – Drozdowo – Darłowo
  • Large Windmill Loop (route 39 km) Darłowo – Cisowo – Drozdowo – Sulimice – Kowalewice – Stary Jarosław – Krupy – Darłowo.

Kitesurfing & Windsurfing

Lake Bukowo is one of the best places for water sports in Poland. A shallow body of water with a gently sloping bottom, 150 m from the sea, it provides many opportunities for both beginners and advanced ‘skateboarders’.

Balticsurf schools are located by the lake, offering windsurfing and kitesurfing training. The schools are equipped with equipment from renowned brands such as: Fanatic, Starboard, North Sails, Pro Limit, North Kiteboarding, Cabrinha, Flysurfer. Each base has offices, changing rooms and equipment storage.

Canoeing

Canoeing Dąbki. Compilation of canoeing routes from the area of Dąbki and surroundings. Descriptions, distances, marinas, possibility of downloading your location and planning your trip, as well as adding ratings and comments. Kayaking in Dąbki is a great way for the whole family to be active. It is a great activity for older children, teenagers and adults alike.

Water Sports Centre
Sailing marina

The marina facilities include:

  • piers for mooring yachts and motor boats,
  • slip and crane for mooring boats,
  • technical and sanitary facilities,
  • leisure equipment hire.

The quays are equipped with access to electricity. The facility located at the Centre includes showers, toilets and a kitchen. In addition, a repair workshop and a hangar for wintering boats and storing engines are located next to the Centre.

Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes in Darłowo

Poland’s only coastal Gothic castle. The fortress was built on a near-square plan measuring 32×34 m, with a courtyard surrounded by a 14 m high defensive wall. A 24m-high tower also performed defensive functions. Construction of the castle began in 1352 during the reign of Boguslav V.
